View event history
Press [Installer Code]. A scrolling menu displays.
Press to see Alarm Events.
The system will scroll through a list of alarms that have occurred since the last time events were cleared.
Press to Clear Alarm Events.
Clears alarm events (does not clear all events in event history). (In a multi-partition system, clears only
alarm events that have occurred in partitions you have access to.)
Press to see History Events. History events include all events that occurred in partitions to which
you have access and any system events. The system will prompt you to enter a starting date. Enter the
date in mm/dd/yy format.
• Press to see all events in history.
• Press to move through the list of events.
• Press to view additional information about the event (for example, user number or zone
number, if applicable).
Press to exit.
Note: You cannot manually clear all events in history. All events clear automatically when the panel
is powered down.
View revision level of the
4821/4820 operating
system
Press .
Displays the revision date and time.
Activate a Duress
(Holdup) Alarm
Press 2 digits assigned as duress digits, then enter your access code.
Activate Emergency Keys
Press , or as needed. Hold for one full second.
Conduct a System Test
1. Press + Maintenance code or Installer code.
2. Select the test you want to conduct from the menu that displays. (See Section 5.9 for descriptions of the tests.
